# Black bird silhouettes All 62 entries use opaque pure black (#000000) on transparent backgrounds. The original ten reference photos guided new illustrations traced into editable SVG paths. The expanded flock uses individually generated species illustrations, traced into SVG and reviewed against Cornell reference galleries; those photographs were not uploaded to ImageGen, traced or redistributed. Backgrounds/perches were removed and obscured anatomy was reconstructed. All profiles face left; the bald eagle reuses the approved silhouette trial. The assets are stylized and not anatomical measurement diagrams. Built-in ImageGen and VTracer were used for the original ten. The additional 50 species use separate built-in ImageGen species illustrations and VTracer. Individual asset licenses follow their source-photo requirements. These licenses apply to the artwork, not the application code. Complete generation prompts are saved in the repository under artwork/black-silhouettes/prompts.json. ## American Robin - Visual reference: [Dave Menke / USFWS](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:American_robin_-_DPLA_-_ad73ed71143abd81cb1d260a609bfa2e.jpg) - Reference license / use: [Public domain](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:American_robin_-_DPLA_-_ad73ed71143abd81cb1d260a609bfa2e.jpg) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black. ## Blue Jay - Visual reference: [Mdf](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Cyanocitta-cristata-004.jpg) - Reference license / use: [CC BY-SA 3.0](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black. ## Rock Pigeon - Visual reference: [Trougnouf](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rock_dove_(Columba_livia)_standing_on_place_de_la_Bourse,_Brussels,_Belgium_(DSCF4428).jpg) - Reference license / use: [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black. ## American Crow - Visual reference: [BKleinWiki](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:American_Crow_Brooklyn,_NY.jpg) - Reference license / use: [CC BY-SA 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY-SA 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black. ## Mallard - Visual reference: [ViseMoD](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Male_mallard_standing.jpg) - Reference license / use: [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black. ## Canada Goose - Visual reference: [Joe Ravi](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Canada_Goose_Standing.jpg) - Reference license / use: [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) - Adaptation: Birdsized contributors, AI-assisted illustration and SVG conversion - Artwork license: [CC BY-SA 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) - Changes: Photo-guided AI illustration, normalized to a left-facing side profile with folded wings; background/perch removed and obscured anatomy reconstructed; vector adaptation traced with VTracer and converted to solid black.
